Privacy policy
Effective 15 October 2026
Who we are. Reliquary Woodworks is a trade name of Cardinal Contracting, Inc., Bozeman, Montana. “We” in this policy means us. Questions or requests: [email protected].
What we collect. When you join our list or reserve a coffer, we keep the email address you give us, your first name if you give it, whether you reserved or asked us to send word, and the date. Our web host also tells us the country you visited from, the page that sent you to us, and your browser type, which we keep with your sign-up so we know where our readers come from. If you reserve, Stripe tells us whether your $1 payment went through.
What we don’t collect. We never see or store your card number: payments are made on Stripe’s own checkout page. This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies, and we don’t track you across other sites.
Counting visits. To see how many people visit and where they come from, we count page views ourselves (a daily total per page and per link source, such as a link we posted on Reddit) and use Cloudflare Web Analytics. Neither uses cookies or identifies you, and neither keeps your IP address.
How we use it. To send you news about Reliquary Woodworks and The King’s Coffer, to send reservers their private reserver link and the launch link, to honour the reservation terms (one reservation per person, refunds if we don’t launch or fund), and to answer you when you write to us. Nothing else.
Who else handles it. We use a few services to run the site, and each handles your details only to do that job for us: Cloudflare (hosts this site and stores our sign-up list), Kit (sends our emails, and tells us whether an email was opened or a link clicked), Stripe (takes reservation payments; Stripe’s own privacy policy covers what you enter on its checkout page) and Google Workspace (our email inbox, if you write to us). When you back the campaign, Kickstarter handles your pledge under its own terms and privacy policy. We never sell your details or share them with anyone else, except where the law requires it.
How long we keep it. Your sign-up stays until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Records of payments and refunds are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires, even after you leave the list.
Your choices. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can leave the list at any time. Write to us to see the details we hold about you, correct them, or have them deleted. We answer within 30 days.
Children. This site is not meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their details. If you think a child has signed up, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes. If we change this policy, we will update it here with a new date, and tell the list if the change matters.
